These are cylindrical crystal oscillators (commonly called "crystal cans") with a frequency of 32.768 kHz. They are through-hole, two-pin quartz crystals widely used as the timekeeping reference in real-time clocks (RTCs), watches, microcontrollers, and other timing-critical circuits. The 32.768 kHz frequency is chosen because it can be easily divided down to 1 Hz using simple binary counters.
